 Thanks Caleb! I agree that one experience isn’t enough to draw conclusions, but I also think that multiple experiences haven’t yet provided a rational, clear explanation of exactly what (in human terms) is being accessed with these entheogens. Whether it’s an aspect of human consciousness, the spirit realm, aliens, some combination, or something altogether different is on the other side, so to speak, is still not a settled issue. There’s a lot of work being done with ayahuasca (whose main psychoactive ingredient is DMT) and I’m interested to see what develops in the future as a result.

 Interesting perspective on psychedelics. However I don’t believe you can draw a conclusion based on one experience. It is the equivalent of attemption meditation once and declaring that it doesn’t work.

Also, regarding alien contact you may wish to work with DMT as that is the substance Mckenna, Strassman and Hancock all discuss working with.
